The One Day Before

Tsukarechatta... It's been a very busy week for me. I was so exhausted, I didn't have the will to muster up enough energy to go online (and going online with Starone sure takes a lot of me). The Binus Bunkasai is tomorrow, so some of the people in my flist and I have been running around to complete our costumes.

Last Sunday, after visiting the Daisho shop in Artha Gading Mall and hanging out in Kelapa Gading Mall, shiroki_kun and magami31 decided to crash at my place. What started as a spontaneous one-night visit ended up as a two-nights-three-days stay-over ^^;; We spent the three days fangirling Konomi-sensei, watching Eyeshield & SamuCha, fangirling HyouteiMyu's cast, playing ShenMue on my Dreamcast, fangirling some more, and other unhealthy things 'till we felt sore and spent on the third day. The two girls went home on Tuesday night. On Wednesday, we picked up our Hyoutei shirts, pants and neckties from the tailor (who looked absolutely bewildered at our costume request). The pants looked cute! That night, I tried on my Hyoutei uniform for the first time, and had my hair tied like Shishido's, and it was.... WHOA! I looked at the mirror and went "Kyaa! Kyaa! Shishido-saaan!!" (why did I sound more like Ohtori???) I couldn't resist doing stupid manly poses in front of the mirror and walked around in stupid manly ways in my bedroom. My sister saw me do it and was whole-heartedly convinced that I have regressed to the mental development phase of a grade schooler. I stuck my tongue out and shooed her out of my room and, devil may care, did some more Shishido poses. On Thursday, I went back to the tailor place with fir3cracker because she needed to have her pants modified. On Friday, I shopped around for some parts of my costumes that I still didn't have at the moment (Shishido's white wristband and white band-aid thingy) and some stuff to make our team's drama's properties. I shopped with Magami, who even had a longer list of things-to-buy. She's such a cosplaying slut... Got home after nine, finished some translating jobs (I finished two! Just one more, Polluxa! Come on! *whips herself*), called the Hyoutei team for tomorrow's schedule and fell asleep among colored papers, and sport shoes, and Hyoutei uniforms, and sport bags, and empty snack wraps...

The best thing about cosplaying is the frantic, stress-inducing moments of preparations. It's so exciting! Even when you're left with nothing in your wallet and you've got funny-looking veins popping painfully on your shins due to much walking around. It is fun. But even so, I can't wait for tomorrow to come, so that I can really put on those stuff and be Shishido-san.

Minna *looks at her team*, ganbare! Hyoutei no bigi ni...yoina!
