*After the events of ACQUISITION, Shinn has been spending a good chunk of his test pilot time working on smoothing out the details of a seventh Impulse pack. However, the goings have been extraordinarily slow, and he frequently ends up getting shot down rather quickly against targets he by all rights shouldn't be losing to so quickly.*
... The Impulse did decently out there... but too much of it is just Strike Redux. Three of its packs were the incomplete prototypes for the stolen Gundams and the three packs I've used now aren't enough. They couldn't stop Break the World or the Armory-1 Raid and they couldn't stop that Zonder creature or Anguis.
The Impulse and I need to be stronger. And this seventh pack might be able to give me the strength I need
*Unfortunately for Shinn, the data that was supplied to the GDF prior to breaking ties with ZAFT was extremely minimal, and he's had to do guesswork for the specifications of nearly every facet of this seventh pack, meaning he has a long way to go.*
