A GREAT anniversary. Just us doing us-ish things, both mundane and exciting. Up early and to dog class, where Truman stared lovingly at me across the park during several exercises, which was sweet but not good form. We went home and then went out to find something for the house at a cool local place,. Much wandering and doing what we always do while shopping, pointing out hideous items and saying things like "Now, this is what I think you had in mind, right?" Found nothing, so we felt we had celebrated our day well by NOT spending money.

Lunch at In-n-Out (where we ate when we eloped). Then many errands. I don't have a lot of relationship advice, but one thing I do tell people--it doesn't matter if you can have fun on a date; that's easy. The secret is to find someone you can have fun with at Costco. There was then the making of sandwiches and packing of picnic backpack, followed by picking up A & H and off to the Hollywood Bowl! We saw "Not the Messiah" which is an oratorio based on Life of Brian. One HUGE thing J and I share is our passionate love for all things Python, so this was a perfect anniversary event. At he beginning of the evening, Eric idle even mentioned being there with the Pythons 28 years earlier, and said he went home after the show and proposed to his wife. And it ended with fireworks, which were AWESOME.

A happy day, celebrating a happy partnership. Lucky me to spend my life with this man.
