I will hate myself in a few hours....
But for now, I am satisfied! I got the urge to clean and organize the storage area tonight. At least the parts of it that are not Christmas things. I got that all done and there is so much room down there. I kept throwing things down there and Aidan had toys all over the place. Now all my household stuff is in one place, Aidan's things are in a separate area and all my wedding stuff that belongs down there is in one area. Hooray!
Then of course I couldn't stop there. I had gone through boxes of toys to make sure I had all the pieces for a play mat that I'm lending to someone. In the process I find some things Aidan might want to play with now. That led to going through all the toys that were in the rest of the house (family room, craft cave, living room, his bedroom) that should go away.
After the toys were done I remembered I wanted to put away his bottles, sippy cups, too little silverware, etc... I cleaned up the hanging baskets that are in his room and I got through all the cubbies in his storage shelves and even in the closet. Now I have a laundry basket of things to put away elsewhere in the house and some nice, tidy storage areas.
I think this all started on Thursday when I wanted to go through his dresser and put away his clothes he'd grown out of. At any rate, it's almost 3 am and I will really regret this when Aidan wakes up in about 4 hours.
