Updates...sorta long.

So the surgery went well. Better than well. Dad recovered very fast and was out of the hospital within three days. That's absurd. The entire family is stoked..stoked the most we can b knowing that it's not permanant goodness.

Since Daddy is dandy for now, I'm heading back up to T-Dot to further the adventure of my life. In Kelowna I've been having many side adventures that are mostly spawned from drinking with Alli. Somehow they all end up with me stranded on a stranger's couch in the morning. I haven't been doing anything naughty. Naughty advances are met with slaps and warnings that an apendage is about to go missing.

But now I'm ready to go back to Graham and see if Toronto is really for me.

Today I ventured to the mall and indulged a bit. I went to La Senza just to find a plain white bra. I also found a lovely little white garter belt. Finding garter belts that aren't black is hard, so I bought it. When I went to the counter, the girl informed me that if I buy $50 worth of stuff, I get 50% off. My current total was 30something so she said that it would probably cost the same to get more stuff.

It actually ended up costing less to get more stuff. A pair of stockings and a lacey corset later, my total came to $28. I am very happy.

I was so happy that I went to Sage to buy some massage oil. Then I went to Bodyshop to pick a perfume. I settled on something called Amerillo or some such name. It's sort of vanillaish and almondy. sweet and rich. I think it will blend nicely with the Blush Nicole gave me on days when I get smell-creative.

I found the Matt Dusk CD I've been looking for. Dad's been saying he want more music to listen to (he's been listening to the exact same albums since before I was born) so I gave it to him. I'll just listen to it a lot while I'm here.

I also got a Douglas Coupland book called Shampoo Planet for Mom. Alli said that Coupland books are very smart and funny so I thought it might cheer her up. She's getting a bit edgy and stressed. My dad's gigantic family has been taking turns visiting since May and it will keep going well into february. When she's done, I can read it. I took in the first two chapters in the foodcourt and it's damn good so far.
