Weeks and weeks behind

There's been so much in the last few weeks that I've wanted to document, and I keep forgetting.

At the end of the Clark Park festival, they were running late and had to take down the stage. Joe Jack Talcum, formerly of the Dead Milkmen, played with an acoustic guitar and a harmonica in the playground at the top of the hill. He could barely be heard over me singing along so loud as the sun set over all of us. I went afterward and thanked him for making the music that saved my life when I was 15.

We all told B that he was jumping into marriage too quickly, but it's his life and we want to support him. Even though we didn't have it in J's brother's farm, it was too late to change location, so we all ended up in Michigan City, Indiana. A one horse town with a nuclear reactor tower. It was like the set up of a horror movie. We drank Old Style in the Red Roof Inn.

I had the best internet date ever. It was the opposite of all internet dates. S is twice as hot in person as she was online. She's three times more interesting. And it was a fourth as awkward.
