This is about Luna? She's already been arrested. Is something worse about to happen?

Not about to happen. Not yet.

No, journalists arrested by despots do not have horrible things happen to them. They simply tend to rot, hidden out of sight and communication.

Luna is safe, for now. However, I have no intention of leaving her to a fate like that, especially with war brewing. I can get her out, but... I'm going to need help.

And while I hesitate to approach what may be a sore topic... I have heard from many sources that your father is a man who can get things done.

Yes. I had been trying to think of ways to get her out without making it an entire incident.

As for my father...

It has been an option. He would be very good at this sort of thing.

I can see why you're asking.

He'll need payment. He needs something in it for him, especially if we're asking. He might go cheaper if I do it, but there will definitely be something he wants in return.

I'm somewhat experienced with independent contractors, so that doesn't catch me by surprise...

I can pay him, if he can follow a fluid operation plan. If you can get him, let him know that I'm prepared to deal.

... And if you're worried, I'm not about to make a plan that will get anyone killed. I want Luna out of prison with as little trouble as possible.

As I said, I'm going to try a peaceful approach first. I've still got contacts in the police, after all... But the department as a whole has been corrupted. Chief Owlmon's loyalists grow smaller in number by day.

If you've got ideas, I'd love to hear them, but... As I said, I won't feel comfortable moving any later than Friday...
