One Million Words
If you like to write or make graphics, you should join 1_million_words. We have a goal of (collectively) writing ten million words/graphics equivalent by the end of the year! Everyone there is welcoming and kind and just amazing. There is a lot of cheerleading and encouragement and TONS of inspiration. Between January and June 23 I had written exactly one thing, which was for my AO3 auction winner and was less than 3000 words long. I joined 1_million_words on June 24 and in that time have written 9 fics for a bingo card, altogether totaling more than 3500 words. I joined the comm because I missed writing, and I have gotten it back. There are daily word prompts and other challenges, which are all totally optional and don't really have deadlines. They have been incredibly kind to me in my few days there. Come check it out!
