recap of 2005 :)
Hey LJ :) I figured since it is now a new year, and time to take a deep breath and exhale in the feeling of newness, I will reflect on the wonderful year that was 2005 :) I stole this end of the year re-cap survey thingy from Jules :)
1. What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before?
fell completely head over heels in love with the woman of my dreams :) learned my new favorite craft, taught an art class, took a break from school :)
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't know that I had any last year... but I am making a life resolution this year :) what better time to start than now?
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
nope!
4. Did anyone close to you die?
I almost lost my fat cat at home... she has a tumor in her ear :( but she's still kick and sassy as heck!
5. What countries did you visit?
no different countries but i got to go to washington with my baby! :) and for christmas :)
6. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?
working towards loving my physical self, getting healthy, an apartment for me and julie :)
7. What date from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
January 28th - I got down on one knee and asked the love of my life to dance! ;) the night I met her :)
February 19th/20th - julie and my first weekend together and my birfday :) and now our anniversary!
the last week of august when I got to show julie the home I had talked about all the time :) it was AMAZING! :)
our first christmas and new years :) ALL OF OUR FIRSTS! :)
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
trusting someone fully and completely and trusting that it was okay to do that :) starting to work on my money management, and deciding i needed a break from school, and actually doing it :)
9. What was your biggest failure?
i don't think i really failed at anything, i just grew a lot and learned a lot
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
some cuts and scrapes from work, a burnt eye (watch out for those damn microwave eggs), typically bumps and bruises that klutzs acquire... that's all i think :)
11. What was the best thing you bought?
wiff julies help plane tickets to seattle, and my puter :)
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Julies Momma! :) Sorry Jules, I have to echo you on this one!! she's has gotten so much better!!! and I really do feel like part of your family! :) and i love that I can talk to her and laugh and joke :) and i love that she lets me be a part of your family!
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
many people, but no one specific in my immediate circle, well maybe a relative or two...
14. Where did most of your money go?
speedway :) no really, probably rents, bills, etc
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
our trip :) all of our firsts! any time i get to see jules! :) planning for february! making things! planning surprises!
16. What song will always remind you of 2005?

i. happier or sadder? so much fucking happier!!! :)
ii. thinner or fatter? a lil thinner
iii. richer or poorer? i would say more stable :) and doing okay!

read for pleasure and self learning... exercised!
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
worrying
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
I spent Christmas Eve with Julie and we did Christmas at her house, then stopped at her aunt Lynn's, then she took me to the airport and I spent Christmas Eve night and well into Christmas morning in the air flying home! then I got home around 3am, then we opened presents at mom's with my bro and mom's fiance at 3:30 in the morning :) then slept and went to my aunts to spend the evening with my fam and we did presents, dinner, etc
21. Who did you spend the most time on the phone with?
Jules and my mum
22. Did you fall in love in 2005?
completely!!! and i love every minute of that love deepening and intensifying :) and growing
23. How many one-night stands?
none!
24. What was your favorite TV program?
SVU :)
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
hate isn't really a nice word or emotion, there are some people I don't like much, but I don't hate anyone
26. What was the best book you read?
the first four harry potter books!
27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
i'm not sure...
28. What did you want and get?
the love of my life! :)
29. What did you want and not get?
a winning mega millions ticket :) ha ha but I am completely happy without it! :) i have more than i could have ever imagined!
30. What was your favorite film of this year?
all the harry potter movies, elizabethtown, rent
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
24, I got a surprise party :) and got to have my baby for the whole weekend!!! :) it was AWESOME!
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
being closer to Julie, but i am learning patience :) and that's wonderful things are worth the wait!!! :)
