My rating has been on a decline for most of 2008. I knew 1402 was not sustainable given that the only time I really play Scrabble is in tournaments and I don't study. I figured 1300 was more realistic, and I fell down to that in Guelph in November. The Albany main event gave me a little boost to 1326, but that late bird with all the luck boxes killed me.
I learned much in the Albany main event, mostly that I play like a loo loo more often than not and I need to actually try a little harder if I want to stay over 1300. I don't really care about rating, but for some reason I care about that threshold.
I'm just really annoyed by it and now I want to play in every Scrabble tournament everywhere , EVER until I get better.
I suppose I should probably study though. Blah. I'd rather play World of Warcraft.
I'm trying to convince my hubby to go to the redeye. We'll see.
