Shameful neglect I know...
I haven't visited my LJ in months and I have no good excuses. Yes, I bought a house and that tangled up a lot of my spare time (still does!) but that's still no excuse.
It is now 2013 and I am still happily settled in Lincoln, which by the way, is probably the best city I have ever lived in. The vintage shops alone make it worth living here, and the gorgeous places to eat are the icing on the cake (Mmmm...cake)
I have recently started a new job too. Interflora was a great place to work but I was ready for the next step up the ladder and they weren't. Shame, but onwards and upwards as they say. Hopefully the extra pennies I get each month will enable me to start building up my social life again. And definitely get me away on holiday this year! Greece is in the cards with two of my lovely friends so hopefully there is sea and sand in my future somewhere in the summertime :)
I had to cancel going to Minami this year which I was fairly gutted about as it would have been my first one, but new job restrictions got in the way. Maybe next year? Ayacon is still a definite as it is the last one ever this year (sob!) Must fun and frolicks will be had wit stockingshock n queex 'm sure :)
