tourney anxiety
I'm trying to not avoid tournaments too much, but I still don't feel like I'm good enough to defend my current rating. I feel like this about most every tournament. I will play Lexington's Saturday after Thanksgiving, but that's low key, club rated, one day... I'm playing with the idea of Albany -- I'll probably be on my way back from visiting the family in Chicago, and Albany isn't a bad place to stop off and play some games. We're driving to and from Chicago, and if Tim left me in NY, I figure I might be able to finagle a ride back to MA, or I could hop the train. My family could then see me in full geek mode, with the lists and the supermemo and all. Or maybe I'll wait til the BAT.
