FWIW, Sam is all of ... 13 now. He's been studying like a fiend lately, and I'm happy to see it's paying off. He's going to be tough to beat in the NSSC next year.

Yep! It's hard to believe that he's been playing just about as long as I have. He and I played in club his first time at the age of 8 ... after he read Word Freak.
