back in the saddle
last year, i had played four tourneys between BAT and the fourth of July, including one that I had organized (and then skipped Albany). This year, I have played none. i feel so disconnected from scrabble right now, even though i'm playing more frequently at club. i can't believe i've been at the job for two months. i have basically not had a day off in that whole time. i do work through the weekends, and in the evenings. never again do i want to have to wok this much. but, this weekend i'm leaving all my files at home (okay, maybe i'll bring one...) -- i'm going to focus on just taking a break. i'm hoping that the amount of work will not affect me at this albany the way it tends to at new years albany. either way, it'll be nice to get away, and be well air conditioned for the weekend.
