it's probably better, at this point, that i haven't been recording my record and spreads, as i would've realized how close many of these games were that i managed to lose. not that most of my scores were completely based in reality due to addition errors, but still.

vs andrew - vs peter b - vs peter s - vs debbie
vs pete - vs bnjy - vs marlon

Also the 3rd and 5th game have the same link.

Against Debbie, NU just doesn't have any winning chances. If you think she has a CHUTZPA play, then she is also guaranteed to have a play above OGEE and easily outscore you while you can't play your high scoring tiles in a good place. So you have to hope she doesn't have a bingo and then figure out how to outscore her in those cases (or also cases where she might miss her bingo). So besides the unbeatable bingo at the top, whether it be CHUTZPAS or PUTSCHES or something else, what threats does your opponent have? Well, the main other threat is still on row 1: plays like CHAPS. WYN takes a 50-point lead and keeps IKRT, which can score reasonably well with plays like IRK or through the O in VOWED. Most importantly, it denies her the humongous (and easy) CHAPS type plays that are often wins for her. WYN probably takes the game out of her reach without a bingo, and even if she does have a winning endgame, the sequence is likely to be significantly more difficult than a win she might've had if you played elsewhere. Thus WYN seems proper.
