seeded 31, finished 33 of 108. 1631 in, 1665 perf, 1659 out
2010 D1: LWWWWLL WLWWLWL LWLWWLW LLWWWLW WLL 17-14 +882.
seeded 47, finished 31 of 116. 1821 in, 1909 perf, 1853 out
2011 D1: LLLWLWW WWWLWWW WWLLWLL WWWLWLL LLW 17-14 -24.
seeded 19, finished 35 of 108. 1931 in, 1920 perf, 1922 out
so what? i dunno. i just felt like doing that. i played a harder field and had much less ridiculous luck this year. i made a lot of mistakes and a lot of elegant plays, got a little too nutty with the phoneys, and became much more interested in others' results than my own right around game 26, which really didn't help my focus and thus record toward the end this year.
i stayed in dallas last night, but was off site at a friend's house. we sat on the couch, and the tv landed on this movie called Zombie Strippers. i watched the whole movie. i'm sure that my brain in normal circumstances would have rejected it, but my brain post-31 games was so happy to be able to just barely engage and watch the army soldiers kill the zombie strippers and save the day. they also made lots of references to other camp movies, which made me happy (badges? we don't need no stinking badges).
i'll post something with substance later.
