I didn't know you had a phony in our first game. I screwed up that game in enough other ways to not deserve winning. That last game would be a lot more traumatic if it was against someone else for much higher stakes.

rpd played iritides against me in orlando. she actually played iridites first and i challenged it off but let the second one go. or maybe it was the other way around.

I blame that on her then, because I knew I saw it on a board once. That's the major flaw in memory - knowing that I saw it somewhere, but not the context.

Against Linda Wancel earlier this year at a N. Salem open tourney my opening rack was DEIIIRT so i tried IRIDITE*. she challenged it off, and on turn 2 i played TEIID. then on the next three plays i bingoed w/ VESTIARY TOLLAGE and SECATEUR (trip-trip) for like 300 points and she challenged all three! so IRIDITE* ended up helping me out after all.

i thought SORDIDER# _was_ good when i read you played it.

SORDIDEST# has a cool collins word for anagram, plural of DROSTDY a type of south african house.

you might've been thinking of OTITISES and OTITIDES.
