With my next appointment, a small part time post in my sunny home district, I move one step closer to having a CV that would make the candidates of Miss World jealous. Maybe not green with envy, perhaps more of a skin colour that you could mistake for sea sickness.
If only they held Miss World on a boat. Or a submarine. What would get to them first, the pressure sickness or the PRESSURE of such an awesome title. Or would they just get sea sick?
New job is more research, this time with children with communication disorders, and also working with children and young people who are needing some help knowing their rights.
I hope I get business cards, so I can be the local busybody. Running around in a blazer and small bag, full to the brim with business cards saying "Joanne Neary: Professional BusyBody". I would spend a few days wondering whether busybody should be one word, or seperated with a hyphen, or using a midword capital. Damn, that midword capital looks awesome. Regal almost?
Definately regal.
My business cards would be given to all young people who need extra support, the kind of children that might phone childline but want something extra. Something face to face, so they know when they call back, I'll be there.
Exciting as always, my quest for the Miss World CV continues. One short contract at a time.
