Wow... You know I get so used to reading small fanfics that I forget what a real story should be like. I was halfway through reading this chapter when I thought, "Wait...there's more going one here. The author isn't just gunna have a quick 'Alan-falls-into-Kevin's-arms' ending."

And I really admire you for keeping it all from Alan's point of view. The small hints (I did get the nutella from the kinkmeme nod) here and there were seamlessly woven into his inner narrative. At first I was completely with Alan- thinking Flynn was being a jerk to him but I slowly realized (with Alan) that there's more going on.

But I wonder what CLU is doing in Kevins head...Is it a smeagol/gollum type thing? Or is he just battling random negative emotions? I know you probably can't tell me!

I gotta ask this though- is the 'You're too tall' thing a nod to the Rinzler/Tron height difference or just Flynn being Flynn?

OMG! I could go on and on. By far one of the best fanfictions I've read in a long time! Definitely the best Tron one I've read so far!

Cannot WAIT for the next chapter!

It fills me with joy to hear love for plottiness. I do try, but sometimes I wonder (a) isitworkingisitworking or omg is it all In. My. Head. (b) amitheonlyonewhocaresaboutit because, yes, I love pr0n as much as the next person, but I can't just write pr0n. It doesn't happen. It, like, transforms and shit. And then there's the crisis of overcomplicatedstopstopbutwait

Anyway...

As far as Clu in Kevin's head, I have to say--it's almost a blessing not to be writing this from Kevin's POV. Because, honestly, I think the ambiguity is part of the love (for me at least). I tried writing Kevin a couple of ways, with varying levels of Clu-aberrations, but I decided it was much more fun to just blur the lines between the two. So we're not really sure who's who so to speak... Even Alan won't always be able to tell the difference.

Umm... You know, I'm not sure where this stuff comes from sometimes. I was halfway through typing the sentence about pissing on carpets when I realized I ripped that from The Big Lebowski. I had definitely read something about the height issue at one point--not sure where O.o

But oh my that comparison is so totally part of the Rinzler/Tron/Alan theme coming up... Ughhh. I was planning to wait on rewriting part 4 (you know, so I can breathe LOL), but all these comments are making me want to get moving.

I usually try and find stories with plot but they're kinda rare so I just take what I can find. I do like pwp and the like but those stories that I watch out for are the deep plotty ones.

So another quick question- do you have a set number of chapters? Just curious!

Set number of chapters? Um. Well, I did have a set number of chapters at one point, but I've rewritten the story since... There's probably another two to four parts, depending on how difficult it is to write-in the epilogue I have mind.
