Hanging in There
In Washington, DC for a conference. Lots of traveling this year, but this is only my second outside trip. Odd. And this month I have two. Both in DC. I am in Arlington for this one. Dinner tonight at Kabob Palace. Carry-out buffet, the host was afraid I did not take enough food. A doctor-looking gentleman walked in with me; he used their prayer room for evening devotion.
Working to recover at home from a disasterous job change for the guy. We both thought it would be a smart move, not a fast track, just a smart move to achieve partnership/ownership in a few/three years. Could not have been more wrong. Hopefully this will be just a 30 day valley/pit that we climb out of quickly. Whatever the case, I am looking for a part-time job to take the edge off of the financial strain.
