And, yeah, those dark places. One of the things I noticed (and loved like a crazy woman) was that *this* season, Eliot's past was shaded very differently than in past seasons. In S1, and even to some extent in S2, his past, which we all know is violent, nasty and bad, was played mostly for laughs, with some really funny flashbacks. In S3, however, all that levity was gone, and, while we were never really told anything explicit, we knew it was bad. Eliot Spencer has got some truly *ugly* stains on his soul.
But he is on the road to redemption now. Even if he doesn't quite believe that. ;)
Thanks so much for reading!

My favorite part had to be the line "Killer Savior Solder Thief". Great description! And his silent exchange with Sophie- brilliant!
Look forward to reading more of your stuff.

And, yes, Eliot. I might have a … thing … for him. (I'm sure you haven't noticed, lol.) I've always loved him, but this season I may actually have made myself his slave. Just the whole slow unfolding of his past, and the soul-weary resignation and regret he's shown … It's like chocolate to an angst slut like me.
I'm thrilled to pieces you liked this so. I desperately wanted a final scene between Eliot and Damien (I may also have an unhealthy thing for their dynamic, *g*). It's my one quibble with those two eps. After watching Eliot basically bleed his way through BBJ and SLJ, we get no resolution? (Seriously, Rogers, wtf?!) So I finally decided to take care of that li'l oversight myself.
And I figured if anyone would understand his struggle over who he is now, it would be Sophie.
Thanks so much for reading, and for your kind words. And feel free to look around the joint. There may be one or two more Eliot stories here and there. (*cough*)

Awesome as usual!

And now that I've got all this backstory built up in my mind, I'm kind of afraid they'll do something and mess it up, lol.
I'm glad you liked the Nate part. This is a man who knows about demons, who knows about bad choices and the price they exact. He might still be a bit peeved with Eliot (it's Nate; who the hell knows how he really feels about *anything*?), he would certainly understand.
As always, thanks so much for reading. It means the world to me!
