thanks. I thought Danny was awfully cute when he got banged in the head with that ladder, so I figured pain killers would make him even more so. I'd like to comfort poor Danny myself, but Casey's hogging him . . .

It's just that Casey tends to the oblivious. If something focuses his attention, he can be lovely.

Awwww! My brave little soldier. You just know he'd let the whole world know about it if he stubbed his toe, but if there was anything really wrong he'd go all quiet. And Danny stoned on painkillers is quite possibly the cutest thing in the world.

And Casey is lovely in this. He should be lovely more often. Who do I see about that?

And, hmmm, yes, you yourself should see to it that there is more Casey loveliness in the world. Or hurting Danny, or heartbroken Danny, or any Danny at all. I love Casey when he is being lovely to Danny, but I love Danny all the time.

Aw, Danny! Aw, Casey! Rare is the fic that makes me want to 'aw' them both.

I like when Casey gets it right. Well, no, I suppose telling Danny when he's awake and not dosed up on pain meds would be getting it right. I like Casey when he's being good for Danny.

Casey gets it almost right, which is pretty good for him.

And perhaps Danny was not quite as sound asleep as Casey believes . . .
