Deck the Hauls!
How punny!
This Christmas, Jesus guided my loved ones to purchase some rather nice gifts for me. [Thanks, Jesus! I mean, for the gift suggestions, AND for everything else... (Phew! blasphemy averted!)]
I received a DS Lite (in Coral Pink!), a programmable crock-pot/slow cooker, two veggie cookbooks (one especially for crock-pot cooking! Yay!), a sewing machine, sewing accessories, beading/jewelry-making supplies, a label maker, some tools, a gift certificate to one of those 'paint some pottery' places, a bunch of gift cards, a bedside desk, and clothes. These should do well in terms of providing me with distractions once school starts up again.
Oh, I also got a paint-your-own menorah (because I'm Catholic), and a bird feeder for my porch, AND I am patiently awaiting the rest of my gifts from one Matthew Goode, who returns to me on New Year's Eve.
Additionally, I am enjoying the food and desserts which are always ever-present when my parents come up to Goonesville. Homemade cuisine makes my belly very happy.
I got some other stuff, too, but I can't think of it all right now, and I'm kinda lazy, remember?
So I hope that you all had a very nice holiday (...I wanted to name one of my daughters 'Holiday,' until I realized that it would literally require her to become a stripper), and that you are enjoying the "cold" weather!
