I'm Posting = Exam Time, Once Again!
Hello guys and gals!
I haven't posted on this here thing in, like, forever.
And really, I shouldn't be posting now, as I have nothing important to say -- but, alas, final exams are once again upon us, and I need to distract myself with livejournal, lest I end up studying, instead!
So, here is a list of things I've done in the past few weeks, when I should have been preparing for tests:
- bought two Christmas trees
- put the big (fairly realistic) looking tree in the apartment; decorated it old-school style, with big bulb lights, dangling, illuminated icicles, glass balls & a light-up angel
- put the little tree on the porch, with multi-color lights, and an illuminated star topper
- Decorated the interior of the apartment with lights, garland, stockings, bows, etc., and the outside with Christmas flags, and swags of blue lights
- painted ornaments to give to my classmates
- purchased gifts on eBay
- took over (in a semi-uncontested election) as the president of the UF Family Law Society
- held a fundraiser to collect money to buy presents for needy children
- painted a poster for the fundraiser; added glitter
- slept
- got a flu shot
- played with Matt & the kitties
- posted this ridiculous entry
So..... guess who's not getting A's this Fall Semester?
In more important news: It's almost Christmas, and I feel very excited about that! (And I'm pretty sure this means it's ok to blow off some studying, because Jesus is more important than law school, any day, right?! Right. I think Jesus would approve.)
Lastly, my roommate just made me some hot cocoa, using real melted chocolate.
My soul is warm, and my belly is full.
