The good, the bad.
The good: A and I got the title, registration, tags, and residential permit for...MY NEW (used) CAR!
The bad: Having to climb the Wheaton metro escalator because it was dead (note for non-DC peeps: "The Wheaton station houses the longest escalator in the Western Hemisphere, according to a Metro spokeswoman, a whopping 508 feet of moving staircase." Except, not moving. I'd much rather walk down than up, so I don't know why it wasn't switched.
Then, after that, walking out into a huge, windy downpour. Not just Florida in summer-type rain, but Biblical rain. Well, I guess I was already sweaty.
The good: Upcoming vacation to Seattle, work trip to CA, visit with my grandma.
Balance definitely on the good. :)
