Do you realize how much you're spoiling me with these frequent updates? Today I was thinking "I'd really love to read more Wellspring" but I knew you JUST posted and I shouldn't be greedy... and then you posted! I'm getting utterly spoiled.

Kids are hard. They're also very needy. Unfortunately sometimes it's the louder ones, the ones that cling, that get the attention when the quieter ones need it as much or more. I like that it's DIFFICULT to figure out how to handle two boys who LOOK identical, but have utterly different personalities. And I like that Sam realizes that their immediate impulse to give Alec a time out was a direct reflection of how their dad dealt with them. Because that IS how you first act with kids. If you don't know what works, you do the first familiar thing and hope for the best.

Oh and because I'm your honest friend, you have a typo.
