(no subject)
the weekend started splendidly enough.... despite it being a funeral weekend for an uncle (married to my Aunt. An uncle I haven't seen since I was maybe 5. Father of my closest set of cousins, whom I adore). The funeral came and went and all was well....admittedly the cousins were a bit upset, but this is to be expected, and at least it wasn't dramatically over played.
Sadly, on our way home from Sunday brunch with the family before they depart back to the hills....we discovered a very dear friend of Rotezora72 had lost her life in a car wreck. Very sweet girl of 25 years, turned now forever to ashes. my initial thoughts of the driver were "may the cat eat him and the devil eat the cat" and I stand by that now.
I've made arrangements to be off work to comfort Rotezora72 as that is my job, and more over, my desire. its all we can really do, after all.
