Dear yuletide Santa,
Wow, I hope you're as excited about this as I am (even if you're kinda nervous, like I am)! Anyway, I said most everything I wanted to say in my requests. However, if you want a little more information about what I like in general, I can do that.
I am a sucker for well-written dialogue (although I think it's one of the most difficult things to do, as you might be able to tell if you glance at my fics). I like it when a character says something and I can hear the exact intonation with which s/he would say it. I'm a big fan of snark and musings.
I like to giggle at something (dialogue or narrative)even in the middle of an angstfest, unless it's terribly inappropriate.
My major irritant in fanfiction is ridiculous ways people try to get around repeating characters' names (e.g. "said the blue-eyed boy," "he looked to the demon-housing ninja"). Unless it makes sense in the context of the situation (e.g. Ninja 1 is thinking about how Ninja 2 has a demon inside of him), just repeat the name. That's my primary pet peeve.
Mostly, though, I like fanfiction. I like the characters I requested and being able to read just about anything with them in it will make me happy (you can be assured of receiving at the very least a squeal of delighted excitement as feedback for your story, and probably a heckuva lot more). If you give the characters a bit of thought and have fun writing them, I'm sure I'll love whatever you write. Thank you!
