First off, 1602ficathon stories were posted on Friday! I haven't been able to read hardly any yet (I worked all weekend, including an 11-hour day on Saturday), but I can link you to the story written for me! sionnain wrote me Delight in Disorder. It's post-series Doom/Natasha, in which they cause some serious trouble in Transylvania.
This story is rich in historical detail, and contains awesome voices for both Natasha and Doom. Seriously, read this story - it's smart and Natasha is sexy, and it makes me very very happy.

Speaking of Doom and Natasha, has anyone read 1602: Fantastick Four #1? It's so great! It has Natasha in it, and also William Shakespeare! Peter David's writing is spot-on, and the art is pretty, and hee!
I was really scared of any comics written in this 'verse after the sheer awfulness that was 1602: New World, but I really can't wait to see where they're going with this.
If anyone wants a download of it, I can probably hook you up.

I have the day off - yay! But there are a billion things I need to do, which is not so "yay." For my own personal reference, here is what I want to get done today:
1. Finish my 1602ficathon story! - I can't even begin to say how embarrassed I am that this isn't finished and posted. I've been fighting with this story for months, but it must get done today. That's it. Oh god, finally done! Why do I suck so bad?
2. Clean the kitchen, the bathroom, the living room and the back room. So the entire apartment. Because this place is ridiculous. Done! My house is once again habitable.
3. Take pictures of The Cheat, my new leopard gecko. I then must post them on the internet, so everyone can see how cute she is. Done!
4. Do laundry? I really don't want to go to the laundromat, but most of my clothes are dirty. I think this can wait until the weekend.
5. Post to crack_van! I am the worst fic-reccer ever, and have only done three posts this month. Done!
6. Go to the yarn store, so I can get started on Christmas presents. Had to go to one yarn store and two craft stores to find what I needed, but now done!
7. Resist the urge to glut on 1602ficathon and xmmficathon stories, unless I get all of this done. List is completed. Tomorrow I shall read until my heart's content.
I hate it when work gets really busy. Then I end up playing catchup on so many things like this.
