Comment to this post and I will give you 5 subjects/things I associate you with. Then post this in your LJ and elaborate on the subjects given, if you want.

Young Avengers

I love the Young Avengers so much. Their series is 50% of why I got into comics. I love the funny dialogue, the pretty art by Cheung, the prettier art by DiVito, the awesomeness of having a totally geeky guy who's also gay, the fact that there's about two million different things about the Avengers you need to know to truly appreciate the series so I spent five hours on Wikipedia, but most of all the characters. They're all so different and unique that it's impossible to replace one of them with another in any role when written properly (Heinberg, Fraction come to mind).

Cassandra Cain

SO AWESOME! She's a cool badass ninja that kicks incredible amount of butt every time she goes out as Batgirl. She's so utterly enjoyable, and I like that the reason she broke away from her father wasn't because she was SO PURE that she knew what he was doing was wrong, it's because she felt the man who was dying pain and horror, therefore she knew what it's like to die sort of, and she knows she can get his life back, but damn it she's going to try and not let that happen to anyone else.

It's a shame she hasn't been seen post-Crisis.

Fandom rants

Oh, comics. I feel like there's no point loving you because of all the ranting I feel the need to do, either in my head, to my real life friends (who don't know WTF I'm talking about), or on here. It's something that I think is specific to this genre, because of all the different writers that are writing the same character, odds are you'll end up with someone who has no respect for them whatsoever and will stomp all over every reason you love them KREISBERG AND WINICK I'M LOOKING AT YOU.

MC2

Much love for age-appropriate comics that don't suck! MC2 comics don't talk down to kids, don't portray women as things, don't portray non-white dudes as only criminals, and show that queer people are people. They're all about the hero being HEROIC, saving the day and doing what's right, and hey, learning a lesson too! It's a shame Spider-Girl's ending :/ . YOU BETTER COLLECT THE REST OF HER SERIES IN DIGESTS, GOT IT?

Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist (which was seriously mega awesome. :D)

It really was, wasn't it? I loved everything about it. It was this incredibly realistic way of showing how teens hook up, what they do, what our conversations are like ... man, I think I need to go make an eBay account and buy it. Like now.
