(no subject)
Had a great holiday, me and my family minus the sister went down to the Twin Cities. I love Minneapolis and WHY are there winters so much warmer then ours when they're a few hours away? I grabbed some comics, the Fallen Angel omnibus and the second volume of Young Liars and Batgirl, but mostly I bought a huuuuuuuuuuuge load of books. I remember somebody on the flist said that they had their friend stay with them when they went into a bookstore so that way they wont spend all the money in the world on books, and I decided to try that with my mom, but when I turned around she had DISAPPARATED. So I blacked out and when I woke up I was seventy bucks shorter and a few thousand pages heavier.
My brother turns out to be a huge Angel fan, and his girlfriend was a huge Buffy fan in high school, so we watched the second season together, and BURNT through the third season in like four days.

Okay, not liking Xander anymore. Sorry Zee, that's not how it works, you don't get to cheat on your girlfriend and get all snippy when she decides to stop hanging out with you and be upset. Although Cordelia is hilarious, and I love Oz as he's portrayed by Seth Green, he's just so monotone and hilarious and secretly CARING. I love Angel the most though, and I don't really know why. I love redemption stories? I love dark mysterious figures? I love David Boreanaz? All of the above?
Also not impressed with Faith. Loved Kendra, she was a BAMF, but Faith is just such a little whiner, thank goodness she's gone.

Cordelia: Xander, I know you take pride in being the voice of the common wuss, but the truth is, certain people are entitled to special privileges. They're called winners. That's the way the world works.

The best episode so far was definitely vamp!Willow. That one was a special kind of hilarious. Definitely.

Hmm ... I notice for some characters, I don't ship them with anyone. For a lot of them that makes sense, you can't exactly have, say, Oz/Angel when the end result if they ever have sex is that Angel will lose his soul, but for others, it's just that I like them better single. Like with Veronica Mars, Veronica/Badassery was my OTP. There's no reason why not there, though, I mean, Logan/Veronica had some crazy chemistry, Mac/Veronica and Wallace/Veronica had loads of potential ... why the chastity belt on Ron, Scotty? I don't get it, I just like her better single. Are you guys like that with some characters?
