delayed relation to life
So last time I updated was May 14th... and before that? November 19th. So i guess I'm on a roll!
Well I found out that I might be getting promoted at work again!!! depends on my work ethic and how well I 'behave'... So I guess calling out today was a bad idea? haha! No but I might become our cash office responsible!! meaning I pay people and make sure the clothing shipments have the right stuff and are at our store on time. That means I'll be getting a raise also!! WOOHOO! I know someone who works in there right now who makes $19/hr.. but he's been there for about a year? So I may be getting just a little less, but not too much less because I'm gonna fight for close to that! I'M EXCITED.
Anywho, I continue to have trouble figuring out my financial aid business with my financial advisor because The 'government' (so many people use the government as an excuse... but they're the one who're paying me money!) says I'm still not in their files???? WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT MEAN!? and, funny thing, every time we call them to clear up some issues we end up speaking to someone in india or they just don't know a damn word of english... I mean I'm not an ignorant american that thinks everyone should speak English but, If you're going to work for the american governments money that is to be allocated... then be able to properly communicate with people with aid issues... or is that just a ploy from the government? hmm... we shall never know.
Anywho, onto better things. I am starting school again soon but I'm only getting the rest of my liberal studies out of the way. I had a ton of credits transfer over from SFSU to the academy so that saved me a lot of trouble and money. So I decided since Financial Aid's being a dick then I'm just going to go to City College and get 4 liberal studies classes out of the way and fill out a fee wavier (which I've already done) and only ahve to pay $33 as my entire tuition there! yay. but I'll just have to pay for books and all taht jazz. Which there's only 2 cheap ones so no biggie. I'm continuing with Italian since I suck at English (I guess i can work for the 'government' now) so I'm really excited about that too.
In other news, i've been seeing the same guy since the end of April and it's going really well. I havn't seen him in about 5 days since our work scheduels are the opposite of eachothers, But I finally get to take him to dinner tonight!
