Not half bad

College kicks ass I have decided. Nothing particularly amazing happened today, it's just the little things that make you feel upbeat. Took my very first college exam today, my score will tell me if I have any hope of achieving my goal of passing the class without ever opening my text book. I have been told that this is an impossible dream, but I will find out soon enough.

On my way to lunch there were some demonstrators standing outside the MU that were re-enacting the Abu Graib prison photos. You know the ones I'm talking about. I don't particularly agree with that form of protesting, but it's good to know the first amendment is alive and well.

There's this resturaunt in the MU that serves drinks without any lids, so naturally when I ate there today I spilled my drink all over the table I was sitting at like a coplete dumb ass. Not two seconds after I had stopped swearing at myself for my own stupidity, then a Mexican employee came over to the table. Not only did she clean up the mess, but she actually went and refilled my drink for me. No white employee and probably no black, asian, american indian, or any other ethnicity of employee would probably have that kind of decency. They'd be like "I don't get paid enough to run around and refill people's drinks." So, take that Bush administration and your crazy need to keep illegal imigrants out of this country, 99.99% of which come here with absolutely no intention of causing harm. I think we should let imigrants in so long as they register with the governments, that way those who do try to cross the boarder without permission are most likely people who do have some dire plans for our country.

On an unrelated note I found out that they have already sold 67,000 tickets to Saturday's football game against Iowa, which means that game (the first game I will be working) will likely be sold out. So I'll be getting my first on the job experience whilst trying to supervise several hundred people. I'm a wee bit intimidated to say the least.

Oh, and please don't hesitate to comment. I know I'm kind of a duecsh and don't often comment on other people's pages, but I am trying to fix that. Until then....

Stay Cool People.
