Breathe: 24-Hours Again
Remember when I said 2010 would be the last year I did the 24-Hour Poetry Feature? Shortly after the 2009 version?
Not doing that. Leaving the door open for every year I'm still around to push a poem out of me.
In an obtuse and utterly indirect way that took years to culminate into a moment of sheer clarity for me this afternoon, funneled through Cristin O'Keefe Aptowicz and Mongo without any of us knowing what was happening, I've made a couple of big-boy poetry decisions. This is one of them. Also, ever year will be national...many readings at once. I started a good thing. Now I want it to be great. Book your venues now...I'm dedicated all over again.
