Call for Poets for Kids Slam
On Saturday, July 19 the Writers' Block will be putting on a family event at the Parsons Library!
1:00 - 2:00
It's a poetry slam with poets performing the work of popular children poets or in character (Dumbledorf poetry? Jedi poetry with lightsabre?!) and will be judged by the families in attendance!
Costumes may be present!
Props may be used!
This is a casting call for the types of poets/poetry I need filled:
- A pirate
- A Dr. Seuss character
- A wizard
- A superhero (cape or something)
- A princess
- A couple of well-known cartoon characters
- Darth Vader
