24 addendum: New chapbook

An addendum to the previous post:

During one of the 24 hours I'll be performing my "juke joint" cycle in its entirety.  If I'd made that statement a month ago, that would mean I'd be reading the poems I posted on the Birney Imes/Juke Joint Poems site I made a while ago.  Of course I couldn't settle for that, and since the intitial batch got a really great response at my Larry's feature back in February, there's now a much larger set of juke joint poems...just large enough to make a good chapbook.

So I'll have a book of the entire cycle there at the 24-hour reading.  More details to come before the weekend, but I wanted to tap your radars in case you come through.  I'm very excited by this collection.  It's my first chap in years, so I'm really excited to be putting it out.  Even better, I'm not putting it out: the brand-spanking new press started by Louise Robertson - Rewriting Ovid - is handling it, and that makes me all kinds of giddy.
