The movie that I'm most looking forward to this summer is "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy." And "Sin City." Oh yeah, and "Revenge of the Sith." I will whole-heartedly admit that I've liked all five movies so far. Of course, there's going to bad things that go with the good things, so I thought I'd try to jot down a quick defense/retort

I just can't wait to see the fight in Episode 3 that's all :) But yeah your right, it does seem that there's a lack of fun characters in the prequels. I think Lucas tried to make Jar Jar that, but it backfired greatly. What's interesting is that Lucas also directed the first Star Wars. Hmm. But yeah, you have a point, the light saber battles simply rule in the prequels.

I don't really like to compare and contrast the two factions. If eps I-III were made right after IV-VI I would throw my hat into the ring. However, being that ep I was made 15 years after VI, to me it's comparing apples and oranges. The technology is much more advanced, although the scripts for I and II leave a little something to be desired.

I'm not expecting a whole helluva lot with Episode III. If Lucas pulls it off as a masterpiece more power to him. Not holding my breath, though. ;)

I'm not a big Star Wars fan and my viewpoint probably came off as a bit retarded, but just throwing my two pence in. :)
