(no subject)
oh, how I hate busywork. I have to write a journal for intergroup dialogue each week. and every time I write one it takes me fucking hours because I procrastinate so much because it's just so dumb. in theory the journals are supposed to be reflective and deep and we're supposed to think and reevaluate ourselves. but honestly, they haven't thrown a question at me yet that's made me do any of these things. they're all either common sense related, or things I've already thought about. IT IS BORING ME TO TEARS.
I just finished this week's though, so..I should go to bed now.
Nothing exciting happened this weekend. I did homework and went to Sweetwater and Potbelly. OH WAIT. I DROPPED ELECTION FORENSICS. HELL YES. It turned out to be heavily on the statistics side of things, much more than I thought it would be. And yet it wouldn't count as taking a stats class, so....it was a waste of my time, because I fell asleep in lectures and when I did the homework. And I haven't been sleep deprived, which means it was the material itself that was putting me to sleep.
IT IS ALMOST FRIDAY. AND THIS IS EXCITING BECAUSE THE FOLK FESTIVAL IS ON FRIDAY (AND SATURDAY)
Friday is Ben Gibbard & Jay Farrar and Iron & Wine and some others.
and then Saturday is Roseanne Cash!!!!!
ALSO. IT IS OFFICIALLY THE 27TH. WHICH MEANS EXACTLY ONE MONTH UNTIL A PRAIRIE HOME COMPANION IS AT THE FOX THEATER AND I AM SEEING GARRISON KEILLOR LIVE FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE. I AM SO EXCITED. (I'll also be starting my spring break at that time)
