Russian...
I work with two people who speak Russian. One, Alex, is a mechanic, and is actually from Russia, I think. I also think he's going to medical school at UofL, so that's interesting.
The other is Abdulla, and, if I recall correctly, he's from one of those "-stan" countries near Russia. I don't remember which one. He's going to Sullivan for business stuff.
They have Russian friends who come in and hang out in the bays and constantly get stuff done to their cars. They speak in Russian all the time. Russian is kind of a fun language to listen to. German sounds angry, French sounds pretty, and Russian sounds like everything is some sort of inside joke! I don't know if this is because of the phrasing and emphasis of the language, or perhaps they are mostly telling inside jokes when they are speaking Russian...who can say? Certainly not me.
I wonder if they knew each other before they both started working there...and that's how they both got on? Because otherwise, isn't that quite a coincidence?
(Also...Alex is kinda cute...but that's neither here nor there...being a gay guy in the mechanic shop provides some decent eye candy all over the place, really! Of course, not that I could ever tell anyone there...lol)
