Back in LV

Been back for one full weekend. The only good thing so far is the ability to go for days without spending any money. Finally had to buy a parking permit and notebooks today. Besides that I have been very good. Tokyo made me spend, Las Vegas turns me very cheap. Still I wish I was in Tokyo. To have been able to stay up for 24 hours with NEWS

Sadly, I think most Viet people might be like that...immigrated-Chinese, too (they were the rudest people in high school...they kept talking over the teacher and just ignored them...sheesh...and it would be conversations and insults in Mandarin...they insulted me in Mandarin cause I sat next to them in art class and didn't gossip with them, and so they thought I didn't understand them....too bad for them, I did, I just never said anything...too much of a hassle) But it's usually the older generations that do that....but some people are VERY nice....@_@...few, but there are some. Dunno, the ones in universities are usually really nice though. Maybe it was just high school for me...

Japanese people are soooooooooooo polite....so many polite ways of saying things, and yet all these other languages don't seem to have as many...=/....*sigh* must be nice living in such an environment....and the fact that everyone's pretty much nice to each other (or so I heard)...lol, if/when I go there, I probably won't want to come back to America...@_@...unfortunately, I'll have to because of school T_T...

And the CA fires are CRAZY. I saw the fies burning while going to school in the mornings...and then saw them earlier tonight when i was on one of the taller buildings of my school...it's kinda scary to know they're so close...but omfg, it's effing HOT!!!

I miss the politeness of the Japanese. I can't stand people being rude, and unfortunately a lot of American's are! Of course the Japanese can be really rude sometimes too, especially if they think you don't understand them. Had an instance at the airport after we missed our flight home where the ticket agent made comments about American's always trying to get things for free.
But no matter what the culture I don't think there is any excuse for talking on the phone while with a paying customer, ugh! Maybe it is just the sales person in me coming out, but it really bothered me! (some much that I am apparently not able to stop ranting about it, sorry -_-)

Anyway, stay safe with the fires! Its so scary when you can see the glow of the flames. I have only had it happen a couple of times, but I never want to again!

Lol, I just know that some of the traditionalists have something against foreigners...so if you don't seem to do as they expect, it'll lead to some er...confusion..lol...well, my cousin says it's a wonderful place to live. I'm not going to disagree. XD

That's true though. Talking on the phone while attending to a customer just says that the worker isn't giving the customer full attention and their best work....=.=...

I think they've contained them kinda....only..then it was rumored that one of them was an arson...@_@...great....=.=...
