These are the five goals Scotland goals that, at the time, were the most critical. They are the five goals that I celebrated the most. They are the five goals that gave us hope. They are the five goals that caused the most joy.
It is a list of disappointments because despite the joy caused by these goals, they don't always lead to great things.

Wow. That's a lot of pressure given:
"Scotland should take heart from their performance in Italy in March, despite their 2-0 defeat."
They may also want "McLeish's men have to start positively but must also make sure they are vigilant, solid and do not going to give anything away - especially in the first 20-25 minutes" to extend to the first 90 minutes.
And of course, the best quote of the whole thing:
"Ahead of a game of this magnitude, you do not want there to be any negatives in the dressing room." Now I'm not a pro athelete, but I would think the playing field, or "pitch" would be where this is most important. But apparently the Scots are instead going to focus on quality shampoo, a rattail embargo, and no demeaning jokes about each others' packages. Proposed new motto? Scotland: don't track mud in here.
