It's mad, bloody mad! One good game and suddenly, everything becomes glamorous.
Like I mentioned before, I went to the pub with the boys to celebrate. The moment I went inside the place (we got in for free!), hands start raining on my back. Everybody wanted to have a chat with me, some asked for my signature like I'm sme hero. It was absolutely humbling. Who knew people actually read the papers. Or support Puddlemere.
After we knocked back a couple of glasses of firewhisky, Marshall, the little arsehole, started speaking to a couple of girls hanging by the bar. (I had absolutely nothing to do with this, Mari.) Turns out one of the ladies was Katie Bell. Yea, Katie, who is umm... my first girlfriend and a former teammate.
So anyway, I invited her to join our party (it's only polite) and we chatted for a bit. It actually rather nice catching up with her. But of course, Mari, love, baby, darling, I'd rather be with you than anybody else, yeah? And I would really love for you to be in the game on Saturday. The boys do not believe I have a girlfriend and insist on setting me up with strange women.
We went home, positively shitfaced. I, in particular, was levitated home because my legs were like ramen noodles. Probably scared off some of the bystanders. Marshall "accidentally" plowed me to a lamp post. Now I have a nasty bruise on the side of my face. Gah.
To end, congrats to all Hogwarts grads. Cheers!
