That's based upon one good child per house.

But I'd be surprised if Santa's Nice list grew beyond two figures these days.

Most of the time, parents just feel bad about the shitty job they've done as parents and buy their kids presents, posing as Santa Claus to keep from having a mental breakdown upon the realization that they could never outdo their parents, whom from day one they had been unconsciously denying a pressure to show-up.
