I saw that when it was Smackie's and was surprised to see they took it over. I had lunch at their downtown spot and you are spot on about the pulled pork. I was disappointed with their sides (greens and baked beans), but it was their first week open and I figured I'd give them a second chance. Guess I'll be checking them again out since they're right up the road now.

Smackie's has apparently closed. I went to use the gift certificates from the WB auction a few weeks ago and they no longer have an open location in town. :-(

Smackies is now running a cart on North High and Pacemont in Clintonville on the weekends. The owner's BP could not handle running a restuarant apparantly.

Good to know. Thanks Ed! Now to find those gift certificates. I sure hope I didn't throw them away. ;-)

I cannto imagine James - the owner and the guy who will likely be running the cart in Clintonville - wouldn't honor that coupon, especially if you tell him where you got it. We emailed each other just a couple of weeks ago.
