Everything is happening so fast...its ridiculous.
Friday night I packed some of my belongings and went to bed (relatively) early. Got up way too early on Saturday morning, and Nick drove me to the train station. I should mention that Nick is a great human being.
So a long ass day with the train, watching Chappelle's Show on my laptop...got in at like 1:30. My mom and Katie Wags picked me up and after some traffic I made it home. Took a shower, went to the bank, and went to pick up Tiff. It was great to see her...its always exciting to see someone you know actually misses you.
So we drove to Providence, listening to Josh Groban (strange, I know) and Tiff continually rubbing my freshly-shaven head (which, might I add, gets a thumbs up from her). Made the short walk to the Cheesecake Factory and waited for maybe 30 minutes (with Tiff falling asleep on me lol) and then had a really nice dinner of some pasta. Took off again and had an adventure trying to park the Cruisa in a spot that was obviously too small for it. We got into the Dunkin' Donuts Center and, I'm not even joking around, Tiff's face lit up like a child on their first Christmas. I haven't been to the circus in a while but they really do this shit up. Souvenirs and people dressed in colors and...its really cool. So we walked around and looked at a lot of the stuff, then found our seats. The circus was a great time...I actually strongly recommend it as a date for couples my age...you'd think its lame but its really fun. So we had a great time looking at elephants and trapeze artists and clowns and laughing and talking and taking pictures. At intermission I bought us each a snow cone (which added up to $17...grr) and we watched the second half, which was probably even better than the first. After the circus was done we went back to my house and exchanged massages (we were both sore) and then I brought Tiff home, amid tears from both of us (imagine that).
So Sunday morning I woke up and had another great train ride...got back to the Po-Town and just chilled the night away. Woke up this morning and took my College Writing final...which I must say, I kicked this test's ass. Then we had lunch, and I started to really heavy duty pack my stuff. It's really amazing, just looking through stuff that I forgot I had here...its crazy. I've been saying that a lot...but it really is odd to think that this is my last night sleeping in room 107, Sheahan Hall. And tonight's our last dinner as a group as Freshmen at Marist College. It's nuts. But so exciting at the same time. So I'm about to work on my take-home test and pack up some more, then it'll be dinner time. Then probably another night of chillin...I'll wake up tomorrow and finish packing, check out with Bret, and go take my Government final and turn in my Comm take home. Before I know it, my mom will be here and I'll be saying my goodbyes to my friends. And then it's summertime.
Summertime.
Summertime.
Summertime.
...it feels so sweet each time I say it.
Summertime.
