Update time!
It's been a day or two...and some interesting stuff has happened.
I dropped my math class. In a nutshell, I haven't taken math since my junior year of high school, and I didn't want to get back into it the way it looked like I was going to have to. It seemed very complicated, and tied into science. Science+math+Scott=trouble.
So what did I decide to take instead of math?
A class called "Poetry Workshop." Can't go wrong. I love poetry, I love writing. Chris Arena was already in the class and I read the course syllabus. The teacher gives no tests whatsoever, and doesn't grade poems because he feels grading creative writing is unfair. So basically, if I go to class and hand in my poems on time, I'll do well. Score one for the little guy.
I slept at Nick's with Briggs last night. We ordered pizza and wings and watched Freddy vs. Jason with Nick's roommate Tom. I actually really enjoyed the movie...that Jason is a cool cat. As is Tom.
Today we went to the mall, and I bought a GameCube. Yeah...not sure why...Nick will back me up that I've been talking about how I wanted to buy one for a long time. So today I just said "fuck it" and went for it. I didn't buy any games though, because they're relatively expensive. Rather, we opened an account at Blockbuster and that's how I'll deal for now...until I have money.
Next, we went to the Marist basketball game tonight. Wow, it was an awesome time. I wish I had gone to more. We're definitely going to the rest of the home games...I can't really describe it...I love college basketball, and its even cooler when its your own school you're cheering on.
