This is my year in review survey...I put it in cut mode because its somewhat lengthy.
1. What did you do in 2003 that you'd never done before?: played in a real deal club, hiked the Rockies, reached 11 thousand feet, graduated, went to college, rode a train alone, played in a band with two guitarists, more stuff I'm sure
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?: last year's was to stay true to myself, and that's what I intend on continuing
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?: no
4. Did anyone close to you die?: no
5. What countries did you visit?: nowhere other than the USA
6. What would you like to have in 2004 that you lacked in 2003?: a bigger fanbase and hopefully a record deal
7. What date from 2003 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?: June 13, because I graduated, August 31 because I moved into college, September 15 because I turned 18, and September 14 because I became an Eagle scout
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?: definitely releasing 2 CDs and playing the Met Cafe in Providence, graduating, and becoming Eagle Scout
9. What was your biggest failure?: I get too angry and wrapped up in little shit when it happens, and get over it quickly, but because I blow up people take a while to forget about it, and that kind of sucks
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?: nothing major that I can remember...I had that whole wrist scare where they thought I might have carpel tunnel
11. What was the best thing you bought?: recording, mixing, mastering, and duplication of Songs About Girls because the final product still blows me away
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?: I dunno...
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?: some people but its unimportant really
14. Where did most of your money go?: food definitely
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?: hiking the Rockies, going to college, putting out the 2 CDs, and making new friends
16. What song will always remind you of 2003?: I think "Juliet" by us because it symbolizes our taking it to the next level...and people constantly tell me how it applies to them and I think that's awesome
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder?: probably the same
ii. thinner or fatter?: ugh...I lost weight
iii. richer or poorer?: much poorer. dirt poor, in fact
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?: spent time with my family
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?: worrying about petty arguments
20. How will you be spending Christmas?: the regular, with the family

22. What was your favorite TV program?: Pardon the Interruption
23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?: I don't hate anyone
24. What was the best book you read?: "My Losing Season" by Pat Conroy
25. What was your greatest musical discovery?: Fall Out Boy, Story of the Year, Thrice
26. What did you want and get?: a computer
27. What did you want and not get?: a lot, but it gives me things to strive for this year
28. What was your favorite film of this year?: Old School
29. What was your favorite record/album of this year?: Ocean Avenue - Yellowcard, Page Avenue - Story of the Year, Deja Entendu - Brand New, The Artist in the Ambulance - Thrice, War All the Time - Thursday, Take This to Your Grave - Fall Out Boy...it was a good year for music
30. What did you do on your birthday?: I was on a train, going back to Marist
31.What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?: having more money
32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2003?: I think it got better...still basically a jeans and t-shirt guy, but my clothes are tighter which I like and more simple
33. What kept you sane?: music
34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?: I give the president a lot of credit, and no, I don't give a shit if you disagree
35. What political issue stirred you the most?: the war
36. Who did you miss?: lots of people both ways (college<->home)
37. Who was the best new person you met?: too many Marist people, I really got to know TJ this year and he's my boy, Suzie and Pachy are awesome, the guys from Riley and Slik Willy, and, of course, Smiles
38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2003: don't worry about petty arguments. tomorrow is a new day and for the most part people are quick to get over stupid fights.
