Canoeing the Gulf of Mexico
Whelp as of right now I'm sitting at the Saginaw Family Health Center doing my 2 dimensional drawing for Butches class. Fun stuff. I'll admit its due tomorrow at 1 pm and it is now 9:38 and I have about 1/3 of the shading done but I dont care. I'm kinda tired though its lonely at the clinic. It's dark and I hear all of these weird noises, I don't mean to be a wuss but its creepy here. Well I'll give you a small update on my life as of right now. I got a job. Yup. At Michael's Arts and Crafts, before you laugh I would just like to say that I have been promoted already and I have already received my first raise after my first 4 days of working. I also changed from seasonal to permanent and they are certifing me in framing. No small task because not everyone at the Michael's crew has this priviledge. Rather I have obtained it through my charm and hardword. And it also helps that my boss, Donny, me, Jim, a guy that looks like a creepy Jesus are the only men at this lovely crafts store. I'll take that back its not lovely its a job though and I'm not gonna tell you my hourly wage because its going to change in 90 days. Yeah to 25 cent raises after permanent employment. Count it that 2 for me. However through my success at Michaels I have already gain a few enemies. On my first day after orientation, they put me on cash register and this girl started hitting on me. She was mighty creepy and mentioned something about her knee high boots and a famous club, anyways she asks me what I was doing after work. I paniced. I looked me my pocket there was a missed call. Thank God that was my ticket away from creepy girl. I told her I was returning a phone call. Yea lame but true. Thank you so much Nicole for calling that day. Even though you me and kevin didn't get to go to the movie I appreciate you saving me. The other enemies are the managers that I believe wish to be framers. This lady hates me, and I believe she has turned most of the cashier girls against me. Its alright I win with the Framing Certification! Besides work nothing has really gone on. I've worked, cleaned, drawn, and read. Thats about it. I got Marie's postcard from Costa Rica the other day I sent her back a huge packet with a map on that back. The map had two dotted lines: one red showing how Scottie's going to hike to San Jose and the second is a blue one representing my efforts to canoe the great Gulf of Mexico. Of course I would have to stop for some Cubian cigars, what kind of a man would I be if I didn't! I saw a Jetta today and it kinda made me sad, but shes suppose to come back pretty soon so yea. I kinda have mixed feelings. I'm happy that she's coming back so we can hang out but I'm not because I know this might be the last time I would see her. Thanks Delphi for declaring Chapter 11 bankruptcy. My parents are freaking but we'll survive. I really would like to make my way down to San Jose one of these days but it looks like that might be delayed. My stomach just turns thinking about seeing her for the last time. Well there isnt much else besides my excitement for the semester to end. Oh man I'm tired of school already but I'm doing fine so I think I just need a weekend to sleep and a week just to relax and I'll be fine. Christmas rush might not let that happen however.
