so worn out...
well, its been awhile since i've actually talked about my life outside of spiritual matters, but this past week was king of the beach, and needless to say i am completely and totally worn out. my teammates were adam danger amberg and kaitlyn 'she chan do it' chan and it was so much fun. we ended up getting 2nd which i was completely and totally happy with because we left it all out there on the court. jose ended up winning the tourney and i couldn't be happier for the guy because he totally deserved the title of king after the way he played. dodge got sand flea and that was totally awesome as well because he didn't even have a 3rd player and still made it to the last day of play. i love how just 4 days of volleyball can bring a team so close together, and how well you start playing together. i hate that my ankle hates me for playing on it after i sprained it, but ill live right? thanks goes out to everyone who cheered my team on as well as everyone who wanted me to lose! ha basically just thanks to everyone for coming out and helping everyone have a good time.
i got to spend yesterday in galveston which was a lot of fun, but not exactly the restful time i needed for my ankle. such is life. it was still a lot of fun. spent the first part of the day just playing in the water and such, had to come back home for road rules (my team the purple potatoes is no longer...sorry riley!), then drove back with my college roommate bryan and went mini golfing then played in the park for a while.
so tomorrow i get to go out of the country for the first time in my life! im going on a mission trip to belize, and im way excited about this. my trip is the same time as all you seattle kids, so ill be praying for you guys and it'd be much appreciated if you do the same for me! thanks guys! and everyone else, prayer would be amazing for not only me and my team, or the seattle kids, but for all the lives that God is going to change through us. im so pumped about letting God use my life to be His hands and feet.
