I know that probably most people think that I am a loon for caring for my cat like this. I know that maybe I AM a loon.

Of course you're not. A pet isn't a stuffed animal. A pet is a member of the family. Or should be - and people who don't TREAT them as members of the family get my unadulterated ire.

{{Cheri}} Sorry you've had such a rotten week.

Well, we all have those rotten weeks. Fortunately, some of us have good friends who help us through them. Since you are the one who helped me through LAST week, you get a "by" for THIS week.

I love you, baby. You are wonderful, and I thank you.

Me and Kobii, we'll be fine. Or if we AREN't, you'll hear about it. Let us hope that doesn't happen.

You know that if there is anything we can do, we are just few steps away. Do you want to borrow our cat for a few days??? We would miss him, but he is very good at keeping people company.

Oh honey....that is so sweet, but it would make HIM miserable. I need to deal with this. He belongs with YOU.

But you are such marvelous friends. I'm so lucky you moved here.

Thank you, Liz, so much. I am so sorry you lost so many of your babies in so short a time....one would be more than enough to have to deal with.....THREE was just too much to bear.

Kobii is in my lap as we speak. Now if she will just eat....

If your kitty is a member of your family, you love her like a member of your family. Nothing loony about that. I've sat up nights on the kitchen floor with a sick bunny as well as nights in a sick room with my daughter, so I know.

Did you get your AOL straightened out? That's really nasty.

Thanks, Barb....I THINK I got it straightened out. techchick suggested I change my password every day or so for a bit, and I think I will do that....just to be on the safe side.

And I got to bring Kobii home today, so I am cudding my baby as we speak. Thanks for your support!

My Love,

Cheri
